Job Description

I'm going rogue people!  I'm a runaway recruiter and you found my job description because you want to be a data analyst?  OK - let me give it to you straight.

comScore is a major player in the entertainment measurement industry - I know you've never heard of us - but ask your friends in advertising or marketing and they will tell you we're legit.  In a nutshell, we measure how people use TV, digital, OTT, IoT and the movies and how that relates to their consumer habits.  Basically, how does entertainment drive you to purchase something - cool, right?  Check out some of our best case studies.

So that's where you come in - we need Senior Data Analysts in Reston VA (just outside of Washington DC), but not just any type of analyst, we want people who are passionate about:

  • Building custom solutions to meet market needs for audience measurement reporting and testing new concepts and integrating into production process.
  • Collaborating with teams in Software Engineering, Operations, and Product Management to deliver timely and quality data. You will be the knowledge expert, delivering quality data to our clients
  • Analyze big data, diagnose potential issues, design process improvements, and collaborate across different functional teams.
  • Be outgoing!! You must be comfortable being loud, talking, throwing out ideas in front of large teams

I know - amazing, right?  How did you get so lucky to find this job description?  Well, corporate does require a few things (party poopers!)

  • Prove to us that you have brought an idea to life beyond the basics. Show us how you’ve gone above and beyond the ordinary, you’re creative in nature.
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience (meaning a position as an analyst, and not an internship or academic project).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, etc.

Working at comScore is a great time.  Up for the challenge?  Up for making new friends?  Up for being able to speak your mind in an open environment?  Please apply!

PLEASE NOTE: Must be able to start immediately - must be able to start working in 2017.
