    Job Title:     Compliance Project Manager

    Location:     Reston, VA


    About this Role:


    comScore, a leading technology firm in the entertainment measurement industry, is seeking a Compliance Project Manager (or coordinator) located in our Reston, VA headquarters. The ideal candidate for this role will have had 1-3 years of compliance experience, including prior work in-house, some knowledge and familiarity with compliance programs and implementation, strong project management and organization skills, a go-getter, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and be able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork ethic, ability to communicate at all levels, and negotiate with diplomacy a must, as is a proven ability to manage time and maintain a detail-oriented approach. This person will be assisting with all compliance team members, including the General Counsel & Deputy General Counsel. This person will also work with senior members of the legal team and internal business leaders and help coordinate internal and external compliance review and monitoring activities.



    What You'll Do:


    • Assisting in project management and administration in the existing and new compliance and privacy programs and audits.
    • Assisting in the monitoring, research and review of the company operations.Administration of compliance processes.
    • Assisting with compliance and certification requests; managing and monitoring deadlines, renewals, and related activities on a continuing basis.
    • Other administrative tasks within the contracts and compliance departments as necessary.


    What You'll Need:


    • 1-3 years of experience with exposure to and increased responsibilities in privacy and compliance functions.
    • JD a plus but not required.
    • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment, self-starter, collaborator, well-organized, and solutions-driven with the ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of current priorities.
    • Proficiency with computer skills, project management and related programs; proven background in accurate, high volume data entry.
    • Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully interact at all company levels.
    • Knowledge of, and experience with a variety of state, federal, and international compliance privacy, security and/or data protection laws and regulations highly desireable.
