    Job Title: Technical Mobile Analyst

    Location: Reston, VA


    About This Role:

We are seeking a Technical Mobile Analyst, in our Reston VA locationto mine our vast array of data assets and generate insights for our customers (internal and external). The analyst is responsible for improving data quality, robustness of our processes, and enhancement of methodologies.  You must be self-motivated, possess strong communication and storytelling skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment while managing shifting priorities. You must iterate rapidly and be comfortable taking educated risks.


    The Technical Mobile Analyst is responsible for working directly with clients to evaluate all digital properties for design and implementation of comScore measurement technologies across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will simultaneously maintain integration workflows and communication with numerous clients. A love of problem solving in challenging situations along with the ability to extract and communicate technical requirements from client communications is critical to success.


    What You'll Do:

    • Advise and assist comScores clients with the implementation of measurement SDKsCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales and Operations, to create and implement client solutions for application measurement
    • Perform bug fix verification, validation and troubleshoots internal and external client issues
    • Report product bugs to engineering teams and track resolution of technical issues
    • Explain complex technical problems to internal and external clients in a clear and concise manner
    • Prototypes and writes SQL queries to compare various data sets
    • Create scripts to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis
    • Work with clients and peers to define technical requirements and translate these into an analytics strategy
    • Work independently, however still receive direction from manager
    • Lead meetings with client technical resources and present comScore solutions

    What You'll Need:

    • Results oriented team player who leads by example, holds themselves and their team accountable for performance, takes ownership, champions efforts with enthusiasm and conviction.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create and manage multiple strategic relationships
    • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS / HTML, Web services / APIs, browser compatibility issues and solutions required
    • Programming experience with Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, and/or ActionScript
    • Hands-on experience with mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
    • Experience with database technologies: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Greenplum
    • Ability to troubleshoot client implementations
    • Ability to perform data testing and validation for current and newly developed product features
    • Strong data analysis skill
    • Experience with content management systems or ad serving systems a plus
    • Deep knowledge of the advertising ecosystem a plus
    • Experience with complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical knowledge or industry experience
