    Job Description: Director, Account Management - Digital

    Location: Los Angeles, Chicago, NYC, Portland (Open for any comScore location)

     

    About this Role:

    The Director of Account Management will be responsible for developing and driving the company’s new business sales strategy, identifying and qualifying prospects, and meeting comScore’s monthly, quarterly and annual new business sales quotas. In addition, this individual will drive the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, prouct development and improvement, and assist in sales efforts.

     

    What You’ll Do:

    • Achieving the annual agency digital sales budget
    • Prospect and close local and regional agency/advertiser sales to ensure revenue numbers are achieved and clients are serviced post-sale
    • Working with the corresponding Director of Account Management station side - to ensure all local resources are efficiently used for in-market visits of agency clients and prospects.
    • Communicate with and build strong client relationships as directed.
    • Proactively manage client communications, responding promptly to questions, concerns, and problems.
    • Act as the customer advocate internally to comScore and ensure project goals, needs, and issues are clearly understood by internal departments, and provide clarity as needed.
    • In a proactive manner, look for ways to improve client deliverables, anticipate customer needs, and offer creative solutions.
    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal comScore teams (Client Service Associates, Sales, Analytical Solutions, and IT).
    • Travel to client locations and attend sales meetings as necessary.

     

     

    What You’ll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university
    • Competency working with complex research/measurement data
    • 5+ years’ experience within Digital or Research environment
    • Strong data, analytics, and decision-making abilities
    • Demonstrated success in managing executive relationships and delivering to client needs
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate well with people at all levels of an organization both internally and externally, both written and verbally
    • Ability to formulate action plans and execute initiatives.
    • Outstanding project management, presentation, and customer service skills
    • Strong competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Self-motivated, organized, and resourceful
    • Must work well in virtual office environment
