    Job Title:      Manager, Product Management

    Location:      Reston VA

     

    About This Role:

     

    comScore is seeking a dynamic Product Management professional with experience in analytics and data visualization that can work with clients and sales teams, and across the product management, analytics and technology teams to drive product design and launch. The right candidate will be a core member of the comScore Audience Products team with responsibility for leading initiatives for comScores Video Metrix and other digital video products.Candidates will have knowledge of the digital media and advertising ecosystem with a focus on the digital video ecosystem desired. The candidate will manage product lifecycles and delivery from ideation to launch, determine and document product requirements, collaborate with UX, data and engineering teams on new product development, and support the sales and product service teams. Communication and effective organization skills vital in this highly-visible cross-functional role.

     

    What You'll Do:

     

    • Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap to advance the growth and positioning of comScore's Digital Video offerings.
    • Identify market needs and transform those into succinct product enhancements or new product initiatives
    • Work closely with comScore commercial teams and clients to identify key growth areas
    • Work with other product leaders, User-Experience and Development teams to drive product initiatives from concept through launch
    • Track progress against strategic imperatives and tactical milestones throughout the product development, integration, and support phases 
    • Internal & External Sales Support - Create and maintain product documentation for internal and external stakeholdersAnalyze the marketplace, customers, and competitors to determine the right product features and benefits

    What You'll Need:

     

    • 3-5 years of experience with product/project management (technology or software experience preferred)Understanding of the digital video and advertising ecosystem
    • Bachelors Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field
    • Skilled communicator who can talk tech with developers yet also effectively communicate with sales and marketing teams.
    • Proven ability of written communication skills.Proven leadership ability and evidence of positively influencing cross-functional teams
    • Self-starter with superior analytical and data management skills
    • Ability to apply creative solutions toward solving problemsUnderstanding of market research and its application to media planning
    • Ability to work with diverse teams (Sales, Research and Developers) to convert product ideas into requirements and prioritize development to produce maximum ROI
