    Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

    Location: RESTON, VA

     

    About this role:

    The Facilities Coordinator is tasked with a wide variety of facility and administrative related responsibilities. The Facilities Coordinator is highly visible and requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information.

     

    What you’ll do:

    • May support more than one location either physically or virtually
    • Space planning & seating assignments
    • Coordinate internal office moves & relocations
    • Maintains floor plans & emergency evacuation procedures
    • Submit requests & work orders to property management & external vendors
    • Provides support for special facilities projects such as construction, maintenance, financial reviews, etc.
    • Effectively manage relationships with vendors, service providers, property management, etc.
    • Provides in-depth cost tracking and monitoring of operational expenses in assigned office locations
    • Create Purchase Orders
    • Procurement & stocking of office supplies for multiple floors
    • Meeting support (conference room booking & setup, catering, etc.)
    • Assists Facilities Management with creation of formal presentations & documentation regarding facilities projects or procedural changes
    • Provide mentoring and guidance to other Office Coordinators
    • Provide general reception coverage as needed (answering phones, greeting guests, answering/routing inquiries, managing incoming/outgoing mail & packages)
    • Ability to move & assemble furniture
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    What you’ll need:

    • Minimum of 5 years of Facilities and Support Services experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Familiarity with budget management
    • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizations, and multiple facilities
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task required
    • Ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways
    • Must have strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skill required
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office products
