    Job Title: Product Analyst - Data Feeds

    Location: Portland, OR (Airport Office)

     

    About This Role:

     

    This position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the Product team, as both a revenue generating unit and sales team support. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure on-time delivery of analysis and data extractions, and to communicate succinctly the status of assigned projects to the Sr. Product Analyst and Director. The Product Analyst will also be an initiator or contributor on projects and studies being owned by the team. We’ll need you to take initiative, work independently, and achieve goals based on direction provided by the Director of Product. The ability to manage goals and project deadlines is crucial.     What You’ll Do:

    • Collaborates with Project Managers, IT/Engineering, Information Quality, Client Success team members, and Account Managers to accomplish on-time and on-budget execution of requested analysis 
    • Responsible for established and reoccurring custom analysis projects and effectively continues deliverables and client communication through completion of project   
    • Identifies invalid data and hypothesizes root causes to troubleshoot   
    • Assists in the development of automating and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools   
    • Produces timely, accurate deliverables   
    • Performs QA checks on custom work created by team
    • Troubleshoots data collection issues   
    • Escalates issues when appropriate; navigates through internal teams easily

    What You’ll Need:

    • BA or BS from an accredited institution; preferably in Information Technology, Economics, Business Administration, Math, or Statistics
    • 1-2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project/Product Management role desired
    • Proficiency using SQL to query large data sets and working knowledge of Excel; Experience with Alteryx, SAS, or other analytical software is a plus; Experience with JIRA or other ticketing and tracking systems
    • Strong communicator, attentive listener and compelling explainer for a variety of internal and external stake holders
    • Ability to manage and take ownership of projects; Self-motivated, and detail/task-oriented
    • Understanding of SDLC/PDLC processes highly desired
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
