    Job Title: Senior Product Management Analyst

    Location: Portland, OR


    About This role:


    The Senior Product Management Analyst will collaborate with Project Managers, IT/Engineering, Client Service team members, and Account Managers to accomplish on time and on-budget execution of comScore TV Analytics and Planning Tools. This role offers direct access to the full Product Management life-cycle within multiple offerings, as well as high-visibility in several cross-functional teams involved with new product development.


    What You’ll Do:

    • Work with cross-functional teams of internal analysts, technology and engineering staff to execute against product plan.
    • Responsible for established and reoccurring custom analysis projects and effectively continues deliverables and client communication through completion.
    • Research, define and manage the development of a product suite that facilitates audience and advertising insights on a TV and Cross-Media basis.
    • Responsible for overall product lifecycle from product prototyping to handoff for TV Analytics and Planning tools.
    • Develop product plan, establish product priorities and define resource requirements for developing and delivering the product.
    • Manage the daily product management responsibility leveraging the Agile framework.
    • Uses JIRA to manage the development requisition.
    • Identifies invalid data and hypothesizes as root causes to troubleshoot.
    • Work with product marketing team to create positioning and messaging that differentiates our cross media and associated products.
    • Work with the sales team and clients to understand market needs and how that influences the development of the product.
    • Assists with seeking, compiling and analyzing user feedback.
    • Prioritizes emerging technical advances and translates to product development opportunities.
    • Trains new employees and mentor’s others.

    What You’ll Need:

    • 2+ years of Product Management experience; Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field is a plus.
    • Familiarity with SQL/Relational database management systems.
    • Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
    • Strong analytical orientation--must love data and be able to articulate the business impact.
    • Excellent people and project management skills needed to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
    • Ability to write concise and persuasive business arguments; able to back-up proposals with appropriate research and data.
    • Business and market research skills; understanding of comScore’s competitive landscape.
