    Job Title: Paralegal

    Location: Reston, VA


    About This Role:

    Comscore, a leading technology company in the media measurement space, is seeking a Paralegal in Reston, Va, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel.  The Paralegal will play a critical role in Comscore's contract negotiation of various types of commercial contracts. This is an exciting and intellectually challenging opportunity for an experienced self-starter to join a leader in information based marketing intelligence solutions


    The ideal candidate will work with a variety of attorneys on the commercial team on company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys in review and negotiating agreements with Comscore clients while supporting business goals and objectives.


    What You’ll Do:

    • Help attorneys manage and negotiate commercial sales contracts
    • Make recommendations to in house counsel, sales representatives and company management
    • Coordinates contract activities, including contract development, negotiation and maintenance.
    • Monitors contracts to ensure terms and conditions are met.
    • Creates, negotiates and incorporates contract amendments, renegotiating the contract to accommodate scope changes or changes in organization requirements.
    • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of Comscore products, client business objectives, contract requirements, and interprets this information to contracted providers.
    • Provide direction to internal clients concerning contract structure, modifications and commercial matters
    • Draft and negotiate sales agreements, NDA's, team agreements, SOW and other documents


    What You’ll Need:

    • 3- 5 years of experience, in-house experience preferred.
    • Experience in drafting and review of contracts including NDAs, statements of work, and professional services agreements.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Must be proactive with a keen sense of urgency and the ability to pay strict attention to detail, while also turning around work quickly.
    • Must be an independent thinker and worker, have strong organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize.
    • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters with a team-player attitude.
    • Bachelors' degree is required.
